Founder and head coach Matt Wolstenholme (pictured) struggled with depression for years.
He said: “I have used anti-depressants, cognitive behavioural therapy and counselling. While there is a place for all of these, for me the best medicine has always been exercise.
“I started FitMind to help other people through exercise, the same way it has always helped me.”
Matt is a Master Personal Trainer with more than a decade’s experience and a trainee counsellor. He currently works with GP referrals and acute mental health patients in hospitals.
Matt leads the FitMind team of directors, who are all dedicated to helping people with mental health problems.
